How long is the MacrameTeepee Hire period?
The hire period is a minimum of 3 hours, extended hire periods can be arranged in advance and will depend on the availability. We set up the Teepee 30 minutes before your hire time and take it down after. The hire period may be extended by prior negotiation, however additional costs will be incurred.

How much is the Macrame Teepee Hire?
Teepee hire is minimum $200 for 3 hours with additional hours $30 per hour. Overnight for an Intimate party is by special arrangement.

Do I need a Security Bond in case of damage?
A $150 bond is required for all confirmed bookings. The bond is refunded within five (5) days after collection, cash bonds will be refunded on the day at pickup provided there is no damage. Damage can be but not restricted to- food or alcohol stains, thread pulls, dirt, pole damage.
An Agreement will be signed by both parties on the day of the Teepee hire setup to confirm there is no damage prior to your event and again at pickup. The Teepee is not to be climbed or leaned this will incur damage. Any repair, replacement or cleaning costs will be deducted from your security bond or invoiced separately if excess of the security bond.

How do I pay?

Once you have confirmed your date you can make  Full payment of your booking on line. Deposit must be paid within fourteen (14) prior to your event if this is not paid your booking will be cancelled we will contact you to organise the deposit.  Cash deposits will be refunded at the end of hire provided there is no damage.

What if I want to cancel or Change my date?
If you give less than fourteen (14) days notice the hire fee is non-refundable, however you will get your bond back. We are happy to reschedule your hire dates if possible. All cancellations must be made in writing. Change of dates must be made in writing and will we try to accommodate.

What if there is bad Weather?
A back up wet weather plan MUST be organised by you in advance and agreed by me .If the event is postponed due to bad weather and can not go ahead the Teepee hire can be rescheduled to another day or a full refund . It is your responsibility to protect the hire equipment on the day from the elements the Teepee is NOT waterproof. In the event that it rains and we are not present, we will supply a cover that must be placed over the teepee. Teepee must have flat ground to be placed on and not muddy or wet. The Beach is fine as long as its dry.

What areas do you service?
We are based in Cotton Tree Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. We offer free delivery within a 35km radius from our home base. Outside of this we charge 50 cents per additional kilometre. If you think you are outside this radius please contact us to discuss if we service your area. You must notify us if the event site is more then 20 metres from where parking is available or in a secluded area such as a beach or park. Location is important and some areas require a permit this is the responsibility of the hirer.

Can I add my own Flowers or lights to the Teepee?

You can add your own flowers and low voltage/solar lights as long as they are safe, will not overheat and cause no damage to the Teepee. Real flowers must be checked for stem seepage, thorns and pollen and the stems must be covered as they can damage the Teepee, owner must approve. You must advise if you are adding any flowers or lights at the time of booking. The Teepee is made of Cotton therefore is flammable. We do not allow fire and candles in or around the Teepee as it’s a fire risk. The addition of any props is entirely at your own risk.

What are the dimensions of the Teepee and what is it made of?
The Handmade Macrame Teepee pole length is 2.4m with a standing height inside of 1.9m. It is 1.4 metres in diameter. Teepee is made from 5mm macramé cotton cord.

What is the flooring like inside the Teepee?
The  Macrame Teepee does not have a floor but mats are available as part the package.
